Wednesday Scripture:
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Psalm 34:8
Wednesday Inspiration:
This is the day that the Lord has mad, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! I encourage you before you start your day, first rise up and give God the glory for blessing you to see another day. Embrace the beauty of today knowing that God has graciously given us another day that is filled with brand new mercies. On today I challenge you to set the atmosphere for how your day will go! Start with praise and worship and give thanks unto God. Then remember Psalm 16:8-9 “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure.” The good news is just knowing that God is always present with us, should help give us peace of mind; knowing that whatever happens in our life, our God is there. We just need to remember to keep our focus on him! Amen! If you know the Lord for yourself, then you know that we serve an amazing God. I encourage you to set the tone for your day with the word of God. The good news is, we can trust that God has a handle on our life and take comfort and solace in the idea that He knows what he’s doing. Amen! When we put our complete trust in God, he will grant us happiness. Remember God is our true source of happiness, strength, hope, and wisdom. Nothing will ever give us everlasting joy and happiness like Jesus Christ. Life is a gift, never forget to enjoy and bask in every moment you are here. Happiness is contagious and it also helps us to be content in every circumstance. We have so many reasons why we could be living in a state of devastation. But join me in counting our blessings. Psalm 146:5 says “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. Amen!
Wednesday Prayer:
Spirit of the living God, father we come at this appointed time and place, pausing to give you all the glory, honor, and praise. We worship you for who you are in our lives. Truly there is none like you in all the earth. Thank you for a brand new day that is filled with new mercies. We love you and we need you more than ever. Lord have mercy on us, forgive us for falling short of your glory. Forgive us for looking in all the wrong places in hopes of finding true peace! Lord help us to be content with what we have in our lives on today. As well as knowing that we are exactly where you would have us to be. You are our God of hope, please fill us all with joy and peace that comes from believing that we can abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. We no longer want to take life for granted and we appreciate every gift that you have blessed us with. Father you are so awesome, please help us to keep our minds stayed on you. O Lord help us to take in a daily dose of your word, for we know that what’s inward flows outward. Please fill our cup with more of you, your presence, power, and anointing. You are the author and finisher of our faith! You are our all in all! You are our shelter from the storm, you are our provider, our keeper and sustainer. When the world is closing in on us, we are so glad that we can run into the arms of our creator and father to provide shelter! We pray that the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts will be acceptable in your sight. You are our rock and our redeemer. We ask a special blessing for our nation! Bless our families, friends, and loved ones in a very special way. Lord continue to unite us a nation. We acknowledge that we can do nothing until you come, please release your healing, love, compassion, and patience throughout our land. For its Jesus name we pray, give thanks, and say Amen.
