Friday Scripture:
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.
Psalm 145:18-19 (ESV)
Friday Inspiration:
One of the most powerful gifts that God has given us is prayer! The bible is clear about how important it is for us to take time out to commune and pray with God. When you think about it…it’s a conversation with our Father. We pray to fellowship with God, so he can develop and grow us. When we end our prayers in Jesus name, let’s first consider… His approval- Will Jesus approve? His authorization-is it something he has authorized? And his acclaim-is it for his glory? In prayer, we enjoy the gift of having God’s ear and discover for ourselves that we are not just servants, but friends of God. John 15:15 I do not call you servants any longer, because the servant does not know what the master is doing; bur I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my father. Remember communication is key to every successful relationship that we have. When we think about PRAYER consider A.C.T.S… Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. It’s important that we make God a daily priority in our life! We should be like the deer that pants after the stream of water, so our soul should seek to fellowship and talk to with God daily. Prayer is a life style. Without prayer we carry our burdens and cares and it’s not until we release them and (let go and let God have his way) that we will be able to receive peace. Through prayer and scripture, we come to learn the personality of God. Prayer changes our attitudes, perspective, situations, circumstances, and restores our joy! And when we pray we are acknowledging that the answer to all of our issues, problems, and challenges is beyond our abilities. Amen! There is indeed power in prayer! And when we pray, stay long enough for God to answer your prayers. Be prepared for yes, no, and not now. The beauty in prayer is that a delay from God is not a denial. It may not be your season or your time. But just know that what God has in store for you is for you! You don’t have to wait until the battle is over, but go ahead and praise him in advance. Praise him for what you are believing by faith that God is going to do in your life. We can whisper a prayer to God wherever we find ourselves, and he will hear us. Amen!
Friday Prayer:
Our Father we come humbly before your throne of grace, pausing to give you all the glory, honor, and the praise that is rightfully due unto you. Truly there is none like you in all the earth. Lord we thank you for last night lying down, and this morning early rising. Have mercy on us, and forgive us for our shortcomings, our sins, and our iniquities. And forgive those who have sinned against us. Thank you for being the author and finisher of our faith! Lord we acknowledge that prayer gives us the opportunity to know you intimately; please teach us how to be disciplined enough to make you a priority in our life. Father help us to pray regularly…on a daily basis in order to discern your will for our life! And we thank you for the opportunity to commune with you during prayer. Lord also as we pray, it’s a sign of true and humble submission unto you. We are so grateful that there is power in prayer and that it makes the difference in our lives! Help us not to move to left or right if it’s not in your will. Thank you Lord as we draw near to your throne of grace, that we shall receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Truly you are awesome wonder in our life! Please dispatch the angels all around us keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen. We pray for your peace that surpasses all understanding. Please restore, renew, and replenish us a fresh. We love you, we need you, and we can’t make it without you. Let the words of our mouth, and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in thine sight. You are our rock and our redeemer. For it’s in Jesus name we pray, give thanks and say Amen!
