TGIF…Today God Is First And My Change Is Coming

Friday Scripture:

For I consider that the suffering of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18(ESV)

Friday Inspiration:

Change is good a thing, I know if you are like me, after living through a pandemic; we are truly not who we were in 2019. And I think it’s a good idea if everyone would be praying for a change and or shift to take place all across our world. I can honestly say that 2020 was like no other year that we have ever experienced! It seems like we took one hit after another. Yet I can still stand strong in my faith and declare with all authority that God is still faithful and worthy to be praised. I can also agree with Job, though he sleigh me, yet will I trust in him! Today I encourage you to take a moment, pause, and think of one thing positive that you are truly thankful for. It’s easy to focus in on the negative, the fear, the challenges that we are faced with in this particular season. Allow me to remind you that seasons change, and this too shall pass! The God we serve is still performing miracles and blessing us right now! He didn’t say that it was going to be easy or peaches and cream always. Please be aware of the things you allow your mind to focus on. It is my prayer that  God will give us the serenity to accept the things that we have no control over, the wisdom to be obedient, and the heart for our brothers and sisters that are in need. A question we can all ask ourselves today, ‘Am I my brother’s keeper?” We are coming out of this together.  I need you and you need me, and by and by the grace of God, our change will come! My hope is that we will not go back to business as usual. But…that instead we will be more willing to love and extend compassion all across the world. I pray that our families will be stronger, marriages will be rekindled, children will be grateful, and we will all APPRECIATE life and all the blessings that God has given us way more than we did prior to Covid-19. Let us focus on what God has taught us and revealed to us during this time. Amen! Hold on, help is on the way! God is still on the throne, and HE is the only one in control! He has the whole world in his hands. And he promised never to leave nor forsake us. Keep hope alive, rest in him, and have faith that the size of a mustard seed. God will do anything but fail!!!

Friday Prayer:

Father we thank you for waking us up this morning, for food on our tables, clothes on our backs, shelter over our heads, and for a reasonable portion of health and strength! Thank you God for your unconditional love! Thank you for looking past our faults and seeing our needs. Oh God, search us and if you find anything that is not like you, please take it way!
