TGIF…Today God Is First And Instead Of

Complaining, I Will Bless His Holy Name

Wednesday Scripture:

Do all things without grumbling or questioning. Philippians 2:14

Wednesday Inspiration:

Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good: his mercy endures forever! This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Yes on this journey we’ve experienced some good days and we’ve had some bad days, but our God is still worthy to be praised. In James Chapter 1 he encouraged us to count it all joy when we face trials of many kind because the testing of our faith is producing patience. My brothers and sisters when the burdens get heavy, pull out your faith file. And recall the many, many times that God has answered your prayers. He won’t fail! He is always right on time. A delay from God is not a denial! Instead of complaining, offer praise to him for what he’s already done in your life. Praise him for who is in your life. Praise him because he’s been better to us, than we could ever be to ourselves. When praises go up blessings come down. And let us put forth an honest effort to live a life of contentment. For I am reminded all that we are, and all that we shall be, is because of his grace and his mercy. Then remain hopeful, hold onto your faith…God is not like man. He’s not fickle, he’s the same today as he was on yesterday. If he did it once, he will do it again.  I know the mean-time, can be a mean time when we’re waiting on God to deliver and rescue us. When we are waiting on God to answer us, but I encourage you to keep hope alive! Remember it’s all in his timing. I believe that what we experience is either his will (ordained purpose for our life) or his permissive will (is what God allows even though it is sin). In the midst of it all, God has been so good to us! Test in life come along to make us better and not bitter. Focus on your family, and the gifts that God has blessed you with, and I’m sure you can testify to how faithful He has been in spite of you! I encourage you to embrace where you’re at today…remember somebody wish they were in your shoes. Things could always be worse…but God. In our world today, it’s so much for us to gripe about, but focus on the goodness of the Lord! Join me and let’s worship the Lord almighty! Amen!

Wednesday Prayer:

Hallelujah, glory to your name. Lord you are so worthy to be praised! Truly there is none like you in all the earth. Father we come giving all thanks, honor, and praise to you for blessing us to see another day! Thank you for our families, our friends and our loved ones. Thank you for every gift that you have blessed us with. Father show us how to continue to be good stewards over the many blessings that you have given us. Remind us that it all belongs to you. We ask that you would forgive us for anything that we have said, done, and thought that was out of your will. Search us O Lord and if you find anything that is not like you, please take it away. Lord help us to be thankful in all circumstances. Please don’t allow any negative talk to come from our mouths, and only allow us to think on things that come from you, that are positive. And show us what true contentment looks like. Remind us of what you said in you word, “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Thank you for all that you have done for us in the past, what you are doing in the present, and what we believe you will do for us in the future. We worship you for who you are in our lives. Great is thy faithfulness. We are not going to wait to the battle is over, but we are jumping for joy right now. We claim victory over and in our lives by the power of the authority of Jesus Christ. Thank you that in spite of us you have remained faithful! Thank you that better days are coming! Thank you for provisions and that every need that our brothers and sisters are in need of are being met. If we had ten thousand tongues we couldn’t thank you enough. Father please dispatch the angels all around us, keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen. Bless us individually, as well as collectively as a whole. We love you, and it’s in your darling son Jesus name we pray, give thanks, and say Amen!
