Wednesday Scripture:
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
Wednesday Inspiration:
Aren’t you glad on today that God saw the best in you! Remember those times when you felt over-looked, counted-out, short-changed, forgotten about, or left-out. God almighty, the creator of heaven and earth looked past our faults and saw our needs. When they said you wouldn’t make it and never amount to anything; God had a plan and purpose for your life. The good news is that no matter how bad you feel you’ve messed up in your life; God still has a purpose and plan for your life. God said I can use him/her for my glory! Don’t you ever give up on God because he’s never given up on us. Remember in spite of me… in spite of my short-comings, failures, mistake after mistake… God has been faithful! Hallelujah somebody!! He sees the best in us. When they talked about us, criticized us, misunderstand us, and called us every name but a child of God. When we are stuck like Chuck and sinking deep in the pits of sin; it is God who saves us! The blood of Jesus washed us pure as snow. We’ve been justified, called out, and set a part for a purpose greater than the chime of the nay-sayers. If God be for us, he is more than the world against us. Remember you are who God says you are! Don’t ever let anyone hold you hostage by constantly bringing up your past! We are all a (ex-somebody) and recovering addicts from something. Oh but to God be the glory! I may not be all that I should be, but thanks be to God, I’m not who I used to be. Now who is God calling you to be? It’s time out for excuses…if 2020 taught us anything; we must make and keep God a priority. And if you’re thinking you are trying to get yourself together first before you serve God with your whole being. Allow me to remind you, we are nothing without God! We can do nothing without God. Now more than ever we must learn to live in the moment! NO MORE EXCUSES!! We owe God our very best!!! God used Moses who was a murderer; Rahab was a prostitute, King David committed adultery and murder, and the Apostle Paul persecuted Christians. So what’s our excuse? God can take our ashes and turn it into beauty. I encourage you to step out the boat and walk fully into what God is calling you to do! Remember He continues to see the best in you!!
Wednesday Prayer:
Most Holy and all wise God; father we come at this appointed time and place to render praise unto you for who you are in our lives individually as well as collectively as whole. Truly there is none like you in all the earth. We could search high and low and still won’t find one greater than you. We love you, we honor you, and we exalt your holy and righteous name. Thank you for blessing us to see a brand new day that is filled with new mercies. Father please forgive us for anything and everything that we have said, done, and thought that was out of your will. Search us oh Lord, and if you find anything that is not like you; please take it away. We pray that the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts will be acceptable in your sight. Lord decrease us that you may increase more in our life. We pray that our light will forever shine bright in dark places. We pray that we will learn to walk in holy boldness and confidently everywhere we place our feet. We pray for your favor and covering over our life. Bless our families, friends, and our loved ones; keep them safe from dangers seen and unseen. Thank you God that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old has passed away, behold, the new has come. Thank you God for another chance, and another opportunity to correct any wrongs that we’ve made. Thank you for seeing the best in us. Father if we had ten thousand tongues we couldn’t thank you enough. Thank you Lord that you promised to fulfill your purpose for us; your steadfast love; O Lord endures forever. Have your way in our life. We pray for your guidance and direction; please don’t allow us to get ahead of your plans for our life. We love you and it’s in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we do pray; give thanks, and say, Amen!
