TGIF…Today God Is First And I’m Letting God Have His Way

Tuesday Scripture:

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Tuesday Inspiration:

Sometimes we must learn to let go and let God have his way. Several years ago I learned about a neat little box called “Something-For-God-To-Do-Box. And for many years this was symbolic to me, every time I encountered something in my life that I had no control of, or I recognized that I was in Spiritual warfare, I would take time out to pray over it, write it down, and release to God. Every time I was frustrated, confused, weary, disappointed, or that I needed God to rescue me; then I utilized this box. And this daily ritual was a tremendous blessing in my life. You see so often we are trying to help God and he doesn’t need any assistance from us. Think about it, if he created the heavens and the earth; what can we possibly help him with? Outside of taking our hands off of things and letting go, and let God have his way. So often he’s waiting on us to step aside, and ask him for help. This little box became my prayer box and reminded me of who was really in control. It also helped to keep me grounded and I was able to maintain my peace in the midst of every day challenges. John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” No matter how corny or cliché it may sound; but it helped me to lay my burdens at the alter and leave them there. God has given us instructions to cast all of our cares upon him. So often we like to pick and choose what we want to let go. God never intended for us to be heavy burdened, yes trouble will come; but we have to decide if we are going to stand on his word and trust his promises. You may be going through hard times on today, but just think back to where you was this time last year. We were on lock-down, with so much uncertainty. But God…he showed up, he kept us sane in the midst of it all. We have survived the pandemic. And we are still here and still standing! Remember He did not bring us this far to abandon us now. And God said in his word that for those who hope in the Lord that he will renew our strength we will soar on wings like eagles, we will run and not grow weary; and we will walk and not faint. I want to speak lift into you today! Please hold on your best is yet to come! Remember to let go and let God have his way. God loves you and he wants you to win in every area of your life!!!

Tuesday Prayer:

Most Holy and all wise God, father we come humbly before your throne of grace; pausing to give you all the glory, honor, and the praise that is rightfully due unto you. Truly there is none like you in all the earth. Lord we could search high and low and still wouldn’t find one greater than you. We love you with every part of our being. Please have mercy on us, and forgive us for our transgressions. Lord forgive us for falling short of your glory. Please decrease us that you may increase more in our life. All that we are and all that will shall be is by your grace and your mercy. Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in your sight. You are our rock and our redeemer. You said in your word to let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Thank you for saving us, and loving us in such a way. We are so grateful!! Thank you that you’re not like man, you look past our faults and see our needs. Father you are the potter and we are the clay; take us, make us, and mold us into that which is pleasing in your sight. Thank you for every good and perfect gift that comes from heaven above. Thank you for your unconditional love, and for loving us in spite short-comings. Thank your guidance and direction. Thank you for food, clothes, shelter. Thank you for keeping our mind stayed on thee. Thank you for your hands of protection and keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen. Lord show us how to truly surrender our all unto you. Teach us how to let go and allow you to reign and rule in our lives each and every day. Thank you for peace in the midst of it all. Thank you for being El Shadai, the God of much more. Remind us that along this journey called life it is bigger than us. And that you desire so much more for your children. Help us to trust you in times when it feels like we can’t trace you. Father use us to be a blessing to someone else. Thank you in advance for meeting every need of our brothers and sisters. Thank you another day filled with so many possibilities. Bless our families, our friends, and our loved ones. For it’s in the awesome name of Jesus we pray, give thanks, and say Amen.
