TGIF…Today God Is First And I Won’t Complain

Friday Scripture:

Do all things without grumbling or questioning. Philippians 2:14

Friday Inspiration:

Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good: his mercy endures forever! This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Yes on this journey we’ve experienced some good days and we’ve had some bad days, but our God is still worthy to be praised. In James Chapter 1 he encouraged us to count it all joy when we face trials of many kind because the testing of our faith is producing patience. He goes on to encourage us to let perseverance finish its work so that we may be mature and complete; not lacking anything. I want everything that God has for me. Sometimes we have to go through to get to. My brothers and sisters when the burdens get heavy, pull out your faith file. And recall the many, many times that God has answered your prayers. He won’t fail! He is always right on time. A delay from God is not a denial! Instead of complaining, offer praise to him for what he’s already done in your life. Praise him for who is in your life. Praise him because he’s been better to us, than we could ever be to ourselves. When praises go up blessings come down. And let us put forth an honest effort to live a life of contentment. For I am reminded all that we are, and all that we shall be, is because of his grace and his mercy. Then remain hopeful, hold onto your faith…God is not like man. He’s not fickle, he’s the same today as he was on yesterday. If he did it once, he will do it again.  I know the mean-time, can be a mean time when we’re waiting on God to deliver and rescue us. Remember it’s all in his timing. Keep your focus on God, your family, and all the many blessings that he has given you.  I encourage you to embrace where you’re at today…remember somebody wish they were in your shoes. Things could always be worse…but God. But I won’t complain!! Amen!

Friday Prayer:

Hallelujah, glory to your name. Father you are so worthy to be praised! Truly there is none like you in all the earth. We could search high and low and still won’t find one greater than you. Thank you for another day that is filled with new mercies. Thank you for life, the air that we breathe, and for a reasonable portion of health and strength. Thank you that our good days out way our bad days…And for that we won’t complain.  Thank you for our families, our friends and our loved ones. Thank you for every gift that you have blessed us with. Father show us how to continue to be good stewards over the many blessings that you have given us. Remind us that it all belongs to you. Forgive us for anything that we have said, done, and thought that was out of your will. Search us O Lord and if you find anything that is not like you, please take it away. Lord help us to be thankful in all circumstances. Please don’t allow any negative talk to come from our mouths, and only allow us to think on things that come from you, and that are positive. Help us to understand and embrace the pure essence of being content with what we have in our lives. We refuse to be conform to this ways of the world. Thank you that all things are working together for our good. Remind us that you said in you word, “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Thank you for all that you have done for us in the past, what you are doing in the present, and what we believe you will do for us in the future. Father please dispatch the angels all around us, keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen. We pray for a safe and blessed weekend. Please bless us individually, as well as collectively as a whole. We love you, and it’s in your darling son Jesus name we pray, give thanks, and say Amen!
