TGIF…Today God Is First And I Understand That Time Is Precious

Thursday Scripture:

Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

Ephesians 5:16 Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

Thursday Inspiration:

Time is more precious today than ever before. So many of us have had loved ones to transition and God has called them home. One of the many lessons that I think 2020 has taught us is to cherish the time that we have. Now more than ever please focus on for filling your God-given purpose. Each and every one of us have a specific assignment that God has for us to accomplish while here on earth. Remember the bible teaches us that only what we do for Christ, will last. I know globally we have experienced ups, downs, challenges, obstacles, heartache, devastation, disappointment, despair, and seemingly so much loss. But God…the good news is we serve a God that is sovereign, patient, faithful, powerful, and almighty! And he is still worthy to be praised. He promised not to put more on us than we can bare. I can imagine at one moment or another, we’ve all felt like Job this past year. But we know Job’s story, he lost everything, but God gave him double for his trouble. And if he did it for Job, he will do it for you and me! Amen! I encourage you to cherish the time that God is giving you today. Be about our father’s business. Spread the good news that Jesus still lives. He’s still saving, delivering, and setting the captives free. Do your part, feed the hungry, tell your story, live, love, and laugh like there is no tomorrow. God has blessed us to be a blessing to others. And yes, we can Pay-It-Forward by faith; even in the midst of an ongoing pandemic. Because we know that our God is still in control, he’s still able to do exceedingly, abundantly, and above all that we can ask or think. Embrace the time that you have, live with (NO) regrets, forgive, shake off your haters, and remember Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. That means accepting what God allows, and trusting that everything will work out by and by. Test and trials in life come to make us better and not bitter. They are designed to shape our character. Allow the master to complete his work in you. Amen!

Thursday Prayer:

Our father, creator of heaven of earth, we come as humbly as we know how to come! First giving you all the glory, the honor, and the praise that is rightfully due unto you. Thank you Lord for blessing us to see a brand new day that is filled with new mercies. Thank you for loving us in spite of our short-comings. Lord please forgive for us for our sins and our iniquities. Father we repent, and we ask that you teach us to live holy. Father help us to come to a clear understanding of how precious time truly is. Give us the boldness that is needed to step out and walk in our destiny. We come against the spirit of fear, and we bind it up. Lord we release the strength and courage you that is needed to obedient to your word. Father help us to look carefully at how we walk, not to do so as one that is unwise, but one that is filled with wisdom from heaven above. Father we understand that the bible teaches us that with you one day is a thousand years, and a thousand years is one day. Help us to not grow weary in doing good, and fill us with a double portion of patience that is needed to make it on this journey. Father teach us to make the best use of the time that you are giving us today. Lord we commit our work unto you, anoint our hands that everything that we touch will be blessed. Lord you said in your word that everything has a season and a time, so we’re praying that not our will, but thy will be done. Help us to let go and let you have your way. Lord we plead the blood of Jesus over our families, friends, and our loved ones; please dispatch the angels all around them, keeping them safe from dangers seen and unseen.  We pray for the sick and shut-in, that you would touch them from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet. For you said in your word that by your stripes we are healed. We lift up those who are suffering with depression, and release your joy in the atmosphere. All that we are and all that we shall be is by your grace and mercy.  For it’s in the awesome name of Jesus, we pray, give thanks, and say, Amen!
