TGIF…Today God Is First And I May Be Bent But Not Broken

Tuesday Scripture:

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Mark 5:27-28

Tuesday Inspiration:

We have so much to be thankful for. As I reflect back to this time last year, our God is good and worthy to be praised. The world we knew it had shut down and it was so much uncertainty.  We are still here because of Gods’ grace and mercy! We are still standing! We’re still here! God still has work for us to do! We’ve shed more tears and maybe have stressed out more in 2020 than any other year. But the fact remains, God is not through with us yet! There is purpose for our life!! Covid-19 attacked our livelihood, and everything that we was once new as normal. We have experienced many losses and heartaches. But God…HE has been faithful in the midst of it all. I want to share with you today that wood and Christians have a lot in common. In order for wood to bend it has to go through a steam box. And a steam box is a handy way to heat wood so that it becomes more pliable (makes it more easy to bend or shape) than it would at a normal room temperature. Once the wood is pliable, you can bend the wood into shapes that you couldn’t bend if it’s cold. All I’m trying to say is this storm that we are currently experiencing won’t last forever. Remember God makes no mistakes, he has a purpose and a plan for each and every one of us. And if we’re bent, we are not broken, because we are yet still standing by the grace of God! If God brings us to it, he will definitely bring us through it. Because I choose to believe by faith that our latter shall be greater and our best is yet to come. Stand firm on the word of God, and remember that what’s impossible with man is possible with God! Allow the woman with the issue of blood to encourage you today. She suffered for twelve long years and spent all the money she had. O but one day, she heard about a man name Jesus and she said, “If I can just touch the hem of his garment then I will be made whole.” Saints she had “CRAZY” faith. The faith the refuses to give up on the power of God! Faith that can move mountains, and refuse to settle for less! The faith that Job had when he said, “though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” Amen!  Remember Romans 10:17 says: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We may be bent, but we are not broken! Hold on help is on the way!

Tuesday Prayer:

Spirit of the living God, father we come as humbly as we know how to come; to bow down before and to bask in your glory once again! Thank you Lord for blessing us to see another day. Thank you for looking past our faults and seeing our needs. Truly there is none like you in all the earth. Father please forgive us for our sins and our iniquities, and for falling short of your glory. Teach us what true repentance looks like that we may humbly turn away from those things that our out of your will. Thank you for life, for the air we breathe, for our family and loved ones. Father words can’t express our gratitude. As the world is slowing bouncing back from last year, we are so grateful for all that you have done. Father you get all glory! We kept the faith and we are still standing by your grace and mercy! We’re still praying, believing, pushing though, fighting through, and refusing to quit. We may be going through right now, and we may even feel like we are bent over and barely standing. But we glorify your holy and righteous name that we are not broken. Better days are coming! We maybe in the fire right now, but we are claiming our victory in Jesus name. Lord Job said that you know the way that we take, and once you have tested us, that we will come forth as gold. We declare and decree that we are more than conquerors with Christ Jesus! We declare and decree that we are coming out better, wiser, and stronger! Please father bless us individually as well as collectively as whole. Please continue to restore, replenish, and renew our minds daily. Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of hearts be acceptable in your sight. Thank you Lord for providing the vaccine! Father be with our families and keep them safe from dangers seen and unseen. We love you Lord and we can’t make it without you. For it’s in your darling son Jesus name we pray, give thanks, and say Amen!
