TGIF…Today God Is First And I Know Him For Myself

Wednesday Scripture:

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18(ESV)

Wednesday Inspiration:

As a child I use to hear our seniors talk about knowing God for yourself. And how we can’t get to heaven on our parents or grandparents relationship with God. Of course they can pray for us and pray over us, but we must accept him as Lord in our life and have a personal relationship with him. And this goes deeper than attending Bible study and Sunday morning service. It is a way of life. When we come to know to know God on a deeper level…our faith increase because we learn to depend solely on him. We trust him in challenging times. We will be able to empower others not to worry, and to trust him. When we understand who God is, we rest in the assurance that God has it all under control and we begin to mature Spiritually. Remember to give thanks to God because he is SELF existing, without origin. Give thanks to God because he immutable, he never changes. You can count on him through thick and thin. God is self-sufficient, he has no needs and is more than capable to provide for each and every one of us.  God is Omni-potent, He is all powerful. He is greater than the Covid-19. God is omniscient, he is all knowing. He knows where we been and where we will end up when this pandemic is over. Keep your hand in the master’s hand and maintain a spirit of expectancy! God is Omni-present, He is everywhere at the same time. He can come see about you and me at the same time.  God is wise, He is full of perfect, unchanging wisdom. We can trust that God will bring us through the storms of life. Let go and let God have his way. Give thanks to Him because God is faithful. Ask yourself the simple question, how many times has God failed you or let you down? Of course God is good, kind and full of good will. God is just, and he is the ultimate judge and jury! Allow God to fight your battles. God is merciful, compassionate and kind. God is gracious, inclined to spare the guilty. God is loving. God is Holy, the only perfect one. God is glorious, the beautiful and great I am! Remember our God will do anything but fail!

Wednesday Prayer:

Most Holy and all wise God, we come at this appointed time and place to offer praise unto you for who you are in our lives individually as well as collectively as a whole. Father forgive us for our sins and our iniquities; and for falling short of your glory. Truly there is none like you in all the earth. Take us, make us, and mold us into that which is pleasing in your sight. O Lord, decrease us that you may increase. We need more of your word, more of your anointing, more your wisdom, your knowledge, and your understanding. Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in your sight. You are our rock and our redeemer; the restorer of our soul. We come against the spirit of depression and emptiness. We and decree and declare that we shall live and not die. We bind up fear and worry, and release peace and joy in Jesus name. We decree and declare that there shall be no lack in our homes, but every need is already being met in the mighty name of Jesus! Every bill that we have shall be paid in Jesus name! Thank you that everything that we need begins and ends with you! Father we can do nothing until you come, so show up and show out in a mighty way. Go by the hospitals and nursing homes O Lord, and release your healing virtue in every room. For you said in your word that by your stripes we have already been healed. We’re not going to wait until the battle is over, but we are shouting now for the VICTORY! Father please help us to come to know you on a deeper level. Help us O Lord to come to know you on a deeper level. We welcome you in, speak Lord for your servants are listening. We need you more than ever. Bless our family, friends, loved ones, neighbors, church family, and all of our sisters and brothers in a special way. Remind us that we need each other more than ever. Father use us this day, to be a blessing to someone else. We count these things already done in your darling son Jesus name we pray, and say Amen!
