Thursday Scripture:
Surely he has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains (of punishment), yet we (ignorantly) considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God (as if with leprosy). But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement (needed to obtain) peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with his stripes (that wounded) Him we are healed and made whole. Isaiah 53:4-5 (AMPC)
Thursday Inspiration:
By His stripes we are healed! So many people are hurting…so many people have physical pain and mental anguish and are emotionally scarred. Today we are focusing on those who are need of healing. This may not apply to you, but if you take a second and look around you; I’m sure you know at least one person who is need of healing. If truth be told, we are in need of healing all across our land. Amen. Psalm 103:1-4 says: “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless his Holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies.” Today we are interceding on behalf of those who are suffering and in physical or emotional pain. Let us pray and agree as we ask God, the Master physician, Dr. Jesus to touch and heal every area of hurt and pain! Amen. Sometimes healing comes through God sustaining us to be able to endure and go through the test. The good news is that he’s keeping us from losing our mind in the midst of it all. And yet at other times he carries us like the footprints in the sand. God has promised that he will restore you to health and heal your wounds. Let’s collectively pray for God’s healing power to spread from breast to breast all across our land. Remember the woman with the issue of blood, she said if I can just touch the hem of his garment I will be made whole. Reach out symbolically and touch the hem of Jesus’s garment and make the choice to believe by faith that God is healing you. I encourage you to decree and declare with me the words that Job said, “though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” Though I may be uncomfortable, yet will I trust in him! Though the pain feels unbearable, Yet will I trust in Him. Though my flesh is growing tired and weak, Yet will I trust in him! On today I encourage you to Claim it, Believe it, and Receive it! And it is so, in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
Thursday Prayer:
Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling: our Father who are in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. O Lord we thank you for blessing us to see another day! Thank you for watching over us as we slept and slumbered. Thank you for your hands of protection over me and my family! Thank for Your mercies that are new each and every day. We bless you, we love you, and we exalt your holy and righteous name! Father, forgive us for falling short of your glory; for anything that we have said, done, and thought that was out of your will. And forgive those who sinned against us. Lord today we come interceding and praying for healing and deliverance for our brothers and sisters who are standing in need. Whether it be emotional, physical, or mental healing; we believe by your stripes they are healed. Father we pray for those who are broken in spirit, and have given up all faith and hope in your power. O Lord we believe that if we call on your name, you will hear us and heal every part of our being. Father we believe that all you have to do is speak and healing will come forth. Father please have mercy on us, for some are weak in spirit and in the flesh. Lord you said in your word that you would heal the broken hearted and bind up our wounds. We ask a special blessing for those who are hurting today. Lord we are crying out to you, and we have faith the size of a mustard seed and we believe that our healing is coming in Jesus name. Take us, make us, and mold us into that which is pleasing in your sight. Bless us individually as well as collectively as a whole; for it’s in your darling son Jesus name we pray, and say Amen.
Application:

Offer Thanks for the testimony that God is giving you during the test.
Confess: A time that you doubted God’s power to heal you.
Ask God: To fill you with a double portion of faith.
