In honor of Black History- Quote: “We have to talk about liberating minds as well as liberating society.”—Angela Davis
Wednesday Scripture:
Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures the Lord. Praise the Lord. Psalm 117:1-3
Wednesday Inspiration:
Let everything that has breathe praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6 I simply want to encourage you to give God the Praise. Take time out of your schedule to have a praise break! No matter how you may be feeling on today. In spite of how long your to do list is, take a few minutes just to offer thanks to our Creator, Father, sustainer, keeper, healer, deliverer, way maker, and mind regulator. Amen! Praise him for who He is in your life! Praise him for his faithfulness, for his unconditional love, and for his patience. Praise his for being everything you have ever needed, and for being a bridge over troubled waters. Offer thanks for his hands of protection and for keeping you and your family safe from dangers seen and unseen. Praise him with the fruit of your lips! Praise his with a shuffle of your feet, and wave of your hand! Praise with a beautiful melody of your favorite worship song. Praise him because it could have been you, homeless, and with no food to eat! Offer Praise and thanks to him for not giving you what you deserve! Praise the Lord!! He’s been better to us than we could ever be to ourselves. Praise him for a reasonable portion of health and strength! Praise him for keeping your family together in the midst of a pandemic. Praise him for allowing you to be clothed and in your right mind. Give him the highest praise on today, Hallelujah! Release a praise in the atmosphere like you have never done before! Praise him for every gift and blessing that he’s already given you! Our God is worthy to be praised. I encourage you to keep a praise in your mouth. The more we praise him, the better we will feel. Praise him for what you are EXPECTING him to do in your life. Today don’t ask God for anything but give thanks unto him and continuously offer praise unto him throughout the rest of the day. I can remember as a child hearing the choir sing, don’t wait until the battle is over; but shout now the victory!!! Oh magnify the Lord with me, let us exult his name together.
Wednesday Prayer:
Most Holy and all wise God, father we come at this appointed time and place to render praise unto you. Thank you for another day that wasn’t promised to us. Thank you for last night laying down and this morning early rising! Thank you that when we woke up this morning, we received your mercies that are new each and every day. Father forgive us, we have sinned against you, and we repent in the name of Jesus! Help us Lord, to not repeat the same mistakes on today that we made on yesterday. Father we lift up holy hands as a sign of surrendering our will over to you. Teach us how to be good stewards over every gift you have blessed us with on today. Bless our marriages and relationships with our significant others. Allow the communication to be open and honest. Bless our children and grandchildren that you have been so kind to give us, teach us how to be good parents, grandparents; and to be positive examples to them. Bless our seniors, be with them and allow them to feel so much love on this day. We pray for a Divine encounter, that you may use us for your glory. We ask a special blessing over our families and loved ones, we pray that every need will continue to be met. Keep our mind stay on you, protect our eye gates and help us to be mindful of the time that we spend watching the news and the latest updates on Covid-19. We lift up everyone that is suffering with depression! Help them to see themselves as you do, whole and healed from the inside out. Father remind us that everything in our life should have balance to it. Oh Lord bless our Mayors, Governors, and city officials as they work to make the best decision for each state. Help us to be mindful that every day people are still testing positive for Covid-19 and to move with wisdom. And that we need to do our part in helping to decrease the number by practicing social distancing and wearing our masks. Also, remind us that in everything that we do, we are a representation of Christ Jesus. We love you and we thank you for all that you have done, are doing, and shall do in the future. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!!!
