Friday Scripture:
God, the Master, says: From now on, I myself am the shepherd. I’m going looking for them. As shepherds go after their flocks when they get scattered, I’m going after my sheep. I’ll rescue them from all the places they’ve been scattered to in the storms. I’ll bring them back from foreign peoples, gather them from foreign countries, and bring them back to their home country. Ezekiel 34: 11-12 (Message)
Friday Inspiration:
So often in life we may have times that we ask ourselves where God is. And the answer is, our father is right here in the midst of it all. I wanted to remind you that he is the good shepherd and he cares all about you! No matter how bleak or dark things may seem right now, God cares! And because he is our shepherd we shall not want anything! Proverbs 27:23 says “Know well the condition of your flocks and give attention to your herds. We can rest in the assurance that if we abide in him and his word abides in us, then we can ask him for anything that we are standing in need of. In Acts Chapter 2 it teaches us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. I want to touch and agree with you on today by faith, that eyes have not seen, nor ears have heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love him. As our shepherd God is a great listener, and he protects us and keeps us safe from dangers seen and unseen. And if his eye is on the sparrow then we can trust that he is also watching over his children. Amen! For I am reminded that God so loved the world that he gave his only son that we would not perish but have everlasting life. Remember God has a plan and purpose for your life. He is invested in us, he loves us, he is concerned about us, and he desires for all of his children to have a life full of abundance and overflow. Hold onto your faith, God is still on the throne. Remember to PPP…Push, Press, and Praise your way through! For I am reminded and believe that when praises goes up, then blessings come down. I will bless the Lord at all times, and his praise shall continuously be in my mouth! I’m so thankful today that we serve a God who is able to exceedingly and abundantly above anything that we think of or imagine. God is great and worthy to be praised. I encourage you to cast all of your cares upon him, because he loves you dearly!
Friday Prayer:
Our father, who are in heaven, we come as humbly as we know how to come giving you all the praise and honor that is rightfully due unto you. Truly there is none like you in all the earth. Lord we bless your holy and righteous name! We love you and we honor you. Father please forgive us for anything that we have said, done, or thought that was out of your will. Search us O Lord, and if you find anything that is not like you, we ask that you take away. For truly we are striving to be the men and women that you have called us to be. Thank you for leading, guiding, and directing us in the way we should go. Forgive us for straying away from your will. Father we desire to be obedient, so please don’t allow us to move to left or right if it is not in your will. For you said in your word, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Thank you for being our good shepherd! Thank you for caring about every burden that is heavy on our hearts. And we pause now to cast every concern that we have unto you. Lord teach us how to let go and let you have your way. We surrender all to you! We recognize that all that we are, and all that we shall be is by your grace and mercy. We thank you that it’s not over, until you say so! That a delay from you is not a denial! Thank you for loving us in spite of us! Thank you for all that you have done, all that you are doing, and shall do in the future. Please be with us on this day, we’re not going to worry about tomorrow, but today we give thanks for your presence and power in our life. We ask a special blessing over our children, give them a desire to learn and to retain the lesson that teachers are teaching on today. We pray for the parents, that you will give the patience and understanding they need to assist our children. Bless our teachers in a very special way. Be with our family, friends, and loved ones on today. For it’s in the awesome name of Jesus we pray, give thanks, and say Amen!
